It depends on your playstyle. Speeders are the fastest and charge boost the harder you push the throttle, Drifters recharge boost by sliding through corners, Titans have rapid boost regen but slow down when the bar drains, and Versatiles are balanced all-rounders. For most campaign races a strong Speeder or Versatile carries well, while Drifters shine on corner-heavy tracks and Titans dominate off-road sections. Build your Rush Squad with one of each so you can swap on the fly.

Most cars come from each island's Dealership using coins earned from Career events and activities, while beating Daredevils in one-on-one races adds their cars to your Garage. Delivery Stunts and Tourist Challenges also reward vehicles, and the hidden Dealership requires Secret Tokens found in the world. The fastest approach is to complete Career events for Career Points, spend coins at every island's Dealership, and challenge every Daredevil you meet.

Yes, online multiplayer supports full cross-play across platforms, so PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch 2 players can race together. The one exception is Nintendo Switch 2 players, who are excluded from cross-play lobbies. Split-screen supports up to four players locally on one screen regardless of platform, and Quick Race is the fastest way to jump into an online match with friends.

After building a track, publish it from the Track Builder menu and it becomes available to friends and the community. You can race your own creation against virtual opponents to test its flow before sharing. Track sharing is designed as a community feature, so there is no redeem-code system in the game — a shared track is accessed through your friends list or the community track library rather than an in-game code.

Each island ends with a Rush Master boss race. First you must beat the three Rushers — the rival team members roaming the island — to unlock the showdown. Then win the head-to-head boss race against the Rush Master to claim their car and title. Defeating all four island champions earns the One True Rush Master crown. Prepare a well-upgraded car that matches the island's terrain before the final race.

The Vehicle Pass is a season pass included with the Deluxe and Ultimate editions of HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush. It delivers over a year of new vehicles starting September 10, 2026, adding cars to your collection on a rolling schedule. The standard edition does not include the pass, but you can compare the editions on the Updates page before choosing which version to buy.
